In winds make sure to use guy point at 45degrees from each other and it will be sturdy if you go in a staight line from the poles they wont. Works well over a picknick table wich i bought it for.

Bought it for camping in the BWCA to keep rain off of our gear. Easy enough to set up but it is nice to have 2 people. Seems to be well built just like other Kelty tents. My wife has me set it up in the front yard when the grandkids visit and they love sitting under it protected from the sun.

This is the best beach shelter you can buy. It gives you lots of space and a structure that allows for a cool breeze. I have had, and do not like, the ones that are enclosed on the bottom and three sides. They are hot and you always feel like you should be sweeping the sand out. We had an earlier model like this (LL Bean) for 10 years. It is tough and lasts. We bought this Kelty because it is a bit bigger. Once you get the swing of setting it up it is great. We fit 5-6 people under it in the sand with no problem. It is lightweight and easy to carry. I only wish the carry case had a zipper on it like the earlier model we had. Stuffing it down in the bag is a bit tough.
