I OWN A T@B TEAR DROP TRAILER AND WANTED A SHADE/RAIN AWNING THAT HAD NICE DESIGN CURVES THAT WOULD LOOK NICE WITH MY TRAILER. THE SHADE HOUSE WAS EVERYTHING I HOPED IT WOULD BE,STYLISH,EASY TO PUT UP AND GOOD PROTECTION FROM SUN/RAIN AND WITH THE OPTIONAL SIDES THE WIND TOO!! IN WIND OVER 15-20 MPH MAKE SURE YOU WEIGHT DOWN LEGS AND USE THE GUY/ROPES. IF YOU WANT GREAT PROTECTION FROM THE SUN,RAIN AND WIND AND A PRODUCT THAT LOOKS GOOD WHILE DOING IT GET THE SHADEHOUSE/BASECAMP FROM KELTY!!!!!

Read a lot of reviews on this "Shadehouse" before I got one. A lot of people said it was hard to set up. Mine was up in under 10 min. Never looked at the instructions.
A lot of people said it was to short in the hight department. I'm 5'11" and I don't hit my head. Some said it was not stable in the wind. Mine was up the other day in 35mi hr sustained winds. With gust up to 50mi per hr.
I only had 4 stakes in the ground holding it. It did bend over quite a lot with the gust, but it stood back up on its own and did not move. On those other occasions when there was little or no wind this is the perfect cover for your tent in hot whether and a great front porch for your gear or kitchen. We take along the Large Cabana from Kelty and use it to store our ice chest and the like out of the whether. I set my tent up (TNF Meadowland 4) with the entrance just under the Shadehouse and the cabana to one side. It's the perfect set up. I still have one of those 13'x13' accordion fram style covers, but it's just to heavy and hard to set up compared to this one. As all ways with Kelty the quality is there.
In the material, the poles, and the engineering of the structure it self. If you want a cover that does the job, but not a hassel to bring along. This might be for you.

Product arrived sooner than promised. Price was less expensive than anywhere else I could find. Very happy with quality of product and the service provided. Easy set up. Great product!
